yet more rambles

Here i am again! I was about to write another sarcastic line about how it’s been ages since the last post, but i just checked, and it actually hasn’t been that long. Progress! Still, I’ve been quite busy. Unsuprisingly to absolutely noone, being an adult is really exhausting. Pretending to know what you’re doing is tiring, y’all. Anyways, I won’t get into the specifics. My Boyfriend has been gone to Military Camp for a week now, and he’ll be there for at least another week. Yay for mandatory military drafting! As if there weren’t enough reasons to dislike Qatar already… It does speak volumes about how much I love him that I’d actually almost consider moving there just to be with him. I mean, I won’t, fuck that, but you know. Almost.

Anyways, I’ve just sort of been keeping myself busy while waiting for him to finally get back. Just to clarify, we don’t live together, it’s a long distance relationship, but he can’t use his phone while in the camp. So yknow, no bf for me for like three weeks.

Moving on! One of the things I’ve been keeping myself busy with is doing some more writing! Yes, i might actually have something of mildly higher quality to post on here soon-(ish)… We’ll see. I do have a deadline though, I’ll gift the story to him once he gets back from the camp. I’m honestly quite proud of what I’ve got so far, I feel like It’s made me a lot better at making the world the characters inhabit actually feel alive.

Another thing I’ve done is make a very shitty implementation of Objects in php exclusively with reflection and excessive use of the session variable. If you think that sounds really stupid, you would be correct, but it is very funny. I’ll be uploading the eldritch abomination that is my code once i finish the version that doesn’t use the session variable for storing attributes but instead stores them by dynamically creating variables using even more reflection shenanigans. $$varname, anyone? I know, I’m sorry. I’ll release the code anyways though, and you can’t stop me :3
